Data collection
thinKbox FRCS does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information with the developer or with third-party analytics or advertising services.
Local data
Notes, flashcards, study progress, search activity, AI interactions, captured images and videos, and other user-created content are stored on the user’s device.
Camera and microphone
Camera and microphone access is used only when the user chooses to capture photos or videos. Captured content remains on the device unless the user independently chooses to export or share it.
Location
When permitted, location may be used locally to label a Quick Capture. Location information is not transmitted to the developer.
Local AI
AI processing uses a user-imported local model and operates on the device. Note content and AI prompts are not sent to the developer or to an external AI service.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The developer does not receive the user’s payment-card information.
Retention and deletion
User-created information remains on the device until the user edits or deletes it or removes the application, subject to normal device backups managed by the user or Apple.
Children
The app is an educational resource intended for orthopaedic trainees and clinicians and is not specifically directed at children.
Changes
This policy may be updated if the app’s privacy practices change.
